MAT, Your Anti-Aging Tool

As we age we go through something called Sarcopenia, which in essence means our body breaks down underutilized muscle tissue. Its a natural process that occurs in our 30's and continues as we age.
The whole "use it or lose it" term comes to mind when thinking about this natural phenomenon. Many adults don't realize how important regular activity is and start to assemble different movement issues, and aches & pains as they age - oftentimes due in part because of overall losses in strength and resiliency.
So, while regular exercise is always encouraged, these movement issues and recurring pains can often limit us from getting back to exercise. Enter, Muscle Activation Techniques ("MAT").
